Today Kaia's passport came...they look very different.
Each page is quite ornamental of American destinations...
busy pages I guess you could call it.
It only took 3 weeks for us to get her passport...what a relief
Now, just odds and ends...We are truly excited. We will for sure
miss friends and family, but we simply must take advantage of this
small window of opportunity...I know it will all be worth it in the end..:)

Christmas Eve

My sweet Uncle Don partook in the Santaness and got himself all geared up.
He was so cute, he walked thru the door, with his "Ho-HO-Ho's,
and his big bag of goodies anticipating kaia's reaction.
She was full of JOy when she saw him,
I think his voice she felt calmed by,
as his voice would relax any good souls....
here are some pics I wanted to share of kaia and Santa
emptying and exploring the candies...and toys and more toys.
We love you guys.

My Pretty POny is back...

I love how mom is trying to slip the hat on her.
She of course had no part of that...we were lucky enough
to have her tamed by Santa.

Note: baby to the right was pulled out of santa's bag...she was born breach.
that is why her face has that purplish tint.

OH they keep getting better and better

SO cute

Give me a HUG girl

Now for the Santa brainwashing...:
Santa's watching...YOu be a good girl:)
gotta go jump on my reindeer

two peas in a pod these two are, they get along so well.

This magical forest we went to was filled with sleighs....reindeer, trains..anything you can think of..but of course Illuminated.

We had so much fun during the holidays....
This really was the first time that kaia understood the simple
concepts of christmas. It was a JOY to watch her frolic around to music with family.

Last of the leaves

There is something so timeless when one looks up into trees...
a sense of ease and wonder I just slip into...
It just feels so therapeutic to gaze under these blissful limbs
I told kaia walk over to her ball.
She ran to the green ball and while she was about to get to her ball
a gust of wind came and the leaves started to fall.
Kaia started yelling "Leaves fallin MOm"
I caught a leaf right by her ear just by chance.
I never thought I would see the day when I would be so content with life. Finally the time has come. THere was a gentle mist, muggy and a dense scent of leaves that filled the air. To stop my overwhelming sense of smell the sound of kaia laughing hysterically in the background filled my heart and the sight of her daddy pushing her in the swing just made me feel so lucky!
